Celebrating European Languages Day Across Our Trust
At The Rosedale Hewens Academy Trust, we are proud to celebrate European Languages Day by recognising the incredible achievements of our pupils and students in language learning and cultural exploration.
Languages are at the heart of communication, connection, and global citizenship. Across our Trust, pupils and students have demonstrated outstanding dedication and excellence in modern foreign languages, achieving top qualifications in a wide range of languages. These include not only European languages such as French, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, and Greek, but also globally spoken languages including Arabic, Panjabi, Persian, Russian, and Urdu.
This linguistic diversity reflects the rich cultural tapestry of our school communities and the commitment of our staff to nurturing multilingualism and intercultural understanding.
In addition to academic success, our pupils and students have had the opportunity to experience language and culture first-hand through educational visits to France, Germany, and Belgium during the last academic year. These trips have deepened their appreciation of European heritage and provided immersive learning experiences that go beyond the classroom.
As we mark European Languages Day, we celebrate not only the languages spoken and studied across our Trust, but also the values of inclusion, curiosity, and global awareness that language learning inspires.
