Celebrating Brookside Primary's TfL Travel for Life Bronze Accreditation
We are delighted to share the fantastic news that Brookside Primary School has achieved Bronze accreditation from TfL Travel for Life!
This is a wonderful achievement for our school community and recognises the hard work, commitment and enthusiasm that has gone into developing our School Travel Plan and encouraging safer, healthier and more sustainable ways of travelling to and from school.
The TfL Travel for Life accreditation programme supports schools across London in promoting active and responsible travel. Achieving Bronze accreditation demonstrates the positive steps our school has taken to encourage pupils and families to consider alternatives to travelling by car, including walking, cycling, scooting and using public transport where appropriate.
This achievement reflects the efforts of our pupils, staff, parents, carers and everyone who has supported our school travel initiatives throughout the year. By promoting more active and sustainable journeys, we can help pupils develop positive travel habits while contributing towards a healthier school community and local environment.
As part of this exciting achievement, the school will receive a TfL Travel for Life Bronze Accreditation Kitemark, which proudly recognises our commitment and progress. We will also receive a celebration banner and certificate from TfL to mark the occasion.
Reaching Bronze accreditation is an important milestone for Brookside Primary School, but it is also an opportunity to continue building on the excellent work already taking place. We look forward to working together as a school community to develop our travel initiatives even further and continue encouraging safe, active and sustainable journeys.
A huge congratulations and thank you to everyone who has helped make this achievement possible!
