Self-Esteem Summer Project (Mixed gender group)

Self-E This Summer | Ruislip Young People’s Centre, Bury Street, Ruislip, HA4 7SX 

Monday 27th to Wednesday 29th July 2026 | 10:00am to 3:00pm 

A supportive space for children and young people to build confidence, develop self-esteem and explore their strengths through engaging activities and group work.

Harlington Young People’s Centre, Pinkwell Lane, Hayes, UB3 1PB 
Tuesday 11th August 2026 | 10:00am to 3:00pm 

Explore the Hillingdon Youth Offer, take part, and stay connected with activities (such as cooking, craft, sports), games and opportunities to engage, socialise and build on your skills.

Girls & Young Women’s Summer Project | Unique Swagga This Summer 

 Harlington Young People’s Centre, Pinkwell Lane, Hayes, UB3 1PB 
Mon 27th July to Wednesday 29th July 2026 | 10:00am to 3:00pm

Empowering sessions focused on confidence, identity, wellbeing and personal growth in a positive, supportive space. There will also be cooking, craft, sport and off-site trip opportunities.


Boys & Young Men’s Summer Project | iChoose This Summer 

Ruislip Young People’s Centre, Bury Street, Ruislip, HA4 7SX 
Monday 10th August to Wednesday 12th August 2026 | 10:00am to 3:00pm 

Supporting boys and young men to make positive choices, build resilience and develop key life skills. There will also be cooking, craft, sport and off-site trip opportunities.

Hillingdon's' Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme 

We are pleased to share that bookings are now open for the Hillingdon Summer Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme 2026.

Running from Tuesday 21 July to Friday 28 August 2026, this government-funded programme provides free holiday activities and healthy meals for children and young people who are eligible for benefits-related Free School Meals, up to and including Year 11.

What's on offer?

There are a wide range of fun and engaging activities taking place across Hillingdon throughout the summer holidays, including:

  • Sports activities
  • Martial arts
  • Paddle boarding
  • Creative arts and crafts
  • Film-making workshops
  • Multi-activity holiday camps
  • SEND-friendly sessions

All sessions include a nutritious meal each day, helping children stay active, make new friends and learn new skills during the summer break.

Discretionary Places Available

A limited number of discretionary places are available for vulnerable children and young people who may not meet the Free School Meals eligibility criteria.
