FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY FOR JANUARY 2022

An opportunity has arisen for an exceptionally able Senior Leader to step up into headship. This forward thinking Trust seeks to recruit an inspiring leader who shares the vision and has the resilience, drive and focus necessary to grow outstanding primary provision. The successful candidate will have leadership and management skills to ensure that each child is able to reach their full potential. Working collaboratively alongside other Headteachers in the Trust, this is an exciting opportunity for a forward-looking and child-centred practitioner.    

Successful candidate(s) must demonstrate:

  • Vision, energy and the inter-personal skills required to inspire, motivate and lead others.
  • Ability and tenacity to translate shared vision into operational reality through ambitious plans.
  • Exemplary classroom teaching and a firm commitment to high expectations and academic achievement.
  • Personal attributes that engender respect and trust from all stakeholders within the wider community and beyond.
  • Ability to promote the highest possible educational standards; creating an environment where pupils feel valued and the staff has high expectations.

Successful candidate(s) can expect to:

  • Play a pivotal role in the leadership of the primary school in the next phase of development.
  • Assume the role of designated safeguarding lead, taking responsibility for child protection.
  • Drive forward an innovative agenda that seeks to improve the life chances of children living locally.
  • Work within an inclusive ethos where pupils are encouraged to be positive, responsive and develop a genuine desire to succeed.
  • Experience a wide range of leadership responsibilities aimed at providing appropriate on-going professional development.

As a fantastic classroom practitioner, with a passion to improve the life chances of children in the local community, the successful candidate will work in an associate capacity and have access to a CPD package, including NPQH, together with practical support on the ground.
