Fine Dining at Parkside

On Tuesday 22nd January our Year 10 and 11 students surpassed expectations as they met a challenge of delivering a fine dining experience to twenty-two invited guests, at the Parkside Café. As Year 11 students are approaching the time of their final assessments they were set the task of delivering a menu that catered for their guests’ different dietary requirements. Teriyaki Salmon and Chilli Chocolate Mousse were just two of the delicious dishes prepared and served by our talented students.
 
Year 10 were responsible for the delivery of the food from the kitchen to the table and ensuring their guests had the best dining experience possible. They demonstrated excellent teamwork as well as superb customer service skills as they attentively waited on tables. 
 
The event was a huge success, with one guest in particular commenting that the food and service they received was just as they would expect from a fine dining restaurant! Well done to all the students who took part!
